Belt’s tree cricket
An adult female Oecanthus belti. She could certainly be mistaken for Oecanthus varicornis or Oecanthus texensis.
The difference with this species is the width of the male’s wings. This width would be a better match to some members of the nigricornis species group — they are much too narrow to match those in the varicornis species group.
